About Memory — how to play

About Moyako Memory

Moyako Memory is a fast, focused card-matching game: flip two cards at a time, remember what's where, and clear the board. A grid of face-down cards hides matching pairs. Three difficulty tiers change the grid size — Easy (4×4, 8 pairs), Medium (5×6, 15 pairs) and Hard (6×8, 24 pairs). Sessions run 2 to 6 minutes and every clean board feeds your daily streak.

How to Play

  1. Pick a difficulty tier and press Start Memory — every session starts with a short 3-second preview of all cards.
  2. Tap a face-down card to flip it. Tap a second card; if they match, both stay face-up.
  3. If they don't match, both flip back after a moment — your job is to remember what was where for when you return.
  4. Clear the board with as few flips as possible. The move counter and session clock both feed your final score.
  5. Hard mode adds a 2-second mismatch penalty for an extra challenge.

Tips for Better Play

FAQ

Is it free? Yes — every difficulty tier and your daily streak are free.

How is the score calculated? Base points per match, time bonus, and a fewer-flips multiplier. Perfect recall (every flip a match) maximises the score.

Do the card images repeat across sessions? The symbol set rotates daily so you can't memorise a fixed board.

Can kids play? Yes — Easy mode uses simple animal icons suitable for ages 4+.
